New Zealand Plastics Recycling
50% of Councils in New Zealand now have kerbside collections for PET (1) and HDPE (2). They are looking to expand these but recyclers want to have defined markets for this material first. Most other recycling is commercial collection. The bulk of this is commercial film. There are several niche businesses reusing other materials.
